Quick Start Guide for Sex Dolls

First things first, 

WALK THE DOLL OUT OF THE BOX EASILY

Now put the doll in an office chair with wheels or a wheelchair and you can move your doll anywhere you like without straining your back.  

Another trick to move your doll around without lifting is to use furniture sliders, a dolly, or a hand truck. You may also consider wearing a brace.

HOW TO ATTACH THE PENIS

If the penis is threaded, then screw the penis into the doll's receptacle as shown in this video:

If the penis has a ball bearing, then pop it in as shown:

Some penises, such as Devon's and Louis's penises, are Push & Tighten penises:

If the penis receptacle is too tight or too loose, on some dolls you can adjust it with a hex screwdriver as shown:

Some dolls use suction cup dildos as their penises. Simply insert the suction cup part inside the hole on the doll's body. 

HOW TO REMOVE THE PENIS

Please pull the penis out by its metal insert base and avoid pulling the skin. This way you'll avoid separating the TPE/silicone from the metal.

Please press the ring on the receptacle to release the locking mechanism. While continuing to press on the ring, install or remove the penis.

Push the penis in really hard as shown in this video. If you are having difficulty, try to release the locking mechanism first as shown above.

To install, please insert the penis and twist it counter-clockwise to lock. To remove, please twist it clockwise and pull.

HOW TO ATTACH A SEX DOLL'S HEAD WITH A FULLY THREADED NECK CONNECTOR 

HOW TO ATTACH A HEAD WITH A HALF-THREADED CONNECTOR

Simply screw in the connector to the doll's head and then snap on the head into the neck. 

WHAT TO DO IF THE HEAD LOOKS TO THE SIDE?

You may need to play around with how tight you screw on the head. Watch this video for tips:

ADJUSTING THE TENSION OF THE SNAP-ON NECK CONNECTOR

On the click-in side of the neck pipe there are two small 3mm hex key setscrews. These screws are opposite the two small protruding balls. The setscrews control the tension on the balls that hold the head on the neck pipe.

Very small adjustments can make a big difference. Turn the setscrews in (clockwise) to increase the tension - This makes attaching and removing the head more difficult but also makes the connection more secure. Turn the setscrew out (counter-clock-wise) to reduce the tension. This will make attaching and removing the head easier. Too little tension and the head may fall off. Very small adjustments (a quarter-turn) of the setscrews will make a big difference, so check the fit after each small adjustment.

Since the doll is tall and stands basically on two small tripods, it is normal to take some playing around to find a balance point. 

FOOT CARE

Be sure your doll wears shoes when standing to prevent damage to the soles. 

If your doll has Standing Feet With Bolts, no additional care is necessary. 

If your doll has Hardened Standing Feet Without Bolts, we suggest not keeping him standing barefoot on a hard floor for long periods of time. Put a thick foam plate under his feet or let him wear cushioned shoes (such as sneakers).

WHAT TO DO IF SOME HAIR CAME OFF?

The doll's skin is soft and stretchy, so the hair requires extra care to stay in. You can re-implant it using a PVA glue for a stronger hold.

You will need an implanting tool like this: Buy on Amazon.

You can use any hair, such as wig hair, human hair, or synthetic hair found in the crafts section of the stores.

CAN'T FIND THE ORAL OR ANAL OPENING?

Please make sure the product description says the doll has an oral opening. If yes, the oral opening is very tight and the walls stick to each other, so it is common to miss it. Please explore it again to find it. It might also be helpful to lubricate your finger with water-based lubricant or mineral oil first.

Very rarely also the opening may indeed be sealed on the outside. As long as the product description says the doll has an oral entry, please take scissors and pierce the mouth right in the middle to open up the seal. You can also do a careful incision between the lips right at the center.   

All dolls have an anus. The hole is tight and sometimes initially hard to find, please check again.

CAN'T FIND THE TONGUE?

Some tongues are removable. Please check in the accessory bag. It's pretty small and easy to miss.

HOW TO ADJUST THE EYES

The eyes are removable and they are not attached to anything. You can move them left, right, up or down to change the direction where the doll is looking or to adjust the symmetry. 

If one of the eyes is bigger than the other, you can push the bigger eye inside the socket or you can pull the smaller eye a bit out. You can also add some cotton balls behind the eye to make it protrude more. 

HOW TO USE THE SHRUGGING SHOUDLERS

The way the shoulders are set in the shrugging position can be a little intricate. Please watch the video on how to do this. 

HOW TO USE THE HEATING SYSTEM

The red LED light indicates the heating system is charging. This can take 30-60 minutes. Once the light turns green, charging is complete and this is the warmest the doll will get. Heating is designed to only warm to about 102 F (39 C) so that it doesn't melt TPE. It may feel less warm where the skin is thicker and may be harder to notice in hotter weather. It will be the warmest in the pelvis and in the back. If you require additional heating, you can use heating blankets on the lowest setting (be sure to test on a hidden area first so it doesn't melt the doll's skin.) 

The heating system's power supply always gets very hot, it is normal. The heating element wire is wrapped around the skeleton and is very long, so it takes the system some effort to heat it all through.

HOW TO USE THE CLEANING SYSTEM 

CLOTHING

Make sure that any clothing put on your dolls is color transfer resistant. TPE is porous and darker colors or patterns may bleed and cause discoloration to your doll and can be difficult to remove. Our Stain Remover does an excellent job of removing most clothing stains. 

CLOTHING SIZES

• You can find out body measurements for your doll on your doll's product page. Give these measurements to the apparel retailer and they will suggest the best size.  
• Try purchasing a few inexpensive pieces of clothing first until you find the right size. This way you won’t spend too much money on anything that isn’t a perfect fit. Generally, we recommend starting with XS and S sizes.

SHOE SIZES

Check the foot length on your doll's product page. If this stat is not available, usually the foot is 9-9.8 inch long. Consider buying larger shoes so that you can put them on easier, especially for dolls with standing foot pegs. 

KEEP THE SHOES ON

Make sure the doll wears shoes when you move him or stand him up. This will protect the feet from rubbing against the floor, which can damage the feet. It can also damage the floor if the feet have standing bolts. 

RANGE OF MOTION

Use these images as an approximate guide. The real range of motion will depend on your doll's model and whether he has an EVO skeleton and shrugging shoulders.

SEX DOLL STORAGE 

TPE is soft and is subject to flattening and creasing if left in a sitting position or laying on a hard surface for a length of time. When leaving your doll unattended for more than a few days, we recommend putting him in our well-padded Custom Sex Doll Storage Case With Wheels. You can also hang him with the Closet Bar Suspension Kit to keep him free from compression marks and creasing.

Do not leave your doll's arms or legs up or open for any period of time longer than a few minutes. If you leave your doll with his arms up or legs spread, the stress placed on the TPE will cause tearing. You may return to find your dolls underarms or the groin area has split apart, which then will require repair. So be sure to always return your doll's back to a neutral stress-free position, with arms down by his sides and legs closed, when you are not using him.

If the skin becomes tacky to the touch, lightly dust your doll with corn starch or baby powder after cleansing and drying to make his skin velvety smooth again. This is very important to do to prevent tearing of your sex doll.

Be sure not to place your sex doll with or on items containing inks, such as newspapers, magazines, dark-colored material or leather materials containing oil-soluble pigments as well.

Don't expose your sex doll to direct sunlight to prevent aging of the TPE material.

TPE contains oil, it's what makes the TPE so soft and jiggly. So be sure not to place your doll on unsealed surfaces that may leach the oil from him and dry out his skin causing it to crack or split.  

LUBRICANT

Always use a water-based lubricant when sexually using the vaginal, anal, and oral entries to prevent tearing of the skin. Silicone or petroleum-based lubes can damage your doll's skin. Do not use vegetable oils as they go rancid. Mineral oil is ok for TPE, but not for silicone. 

CAN I BATH MY SEX DOLL OR USE HIM IN A SHOWER?

We do not recommend using a male sex doll in a bath or shower because the water will get into the metal penis receptacle. For female dolls, only submerge the doll in the water bellow the neckline as you do not want any water in the neck attachment. Also do not submerge the head in the water. 

To wash your sex dolls face, very gently wipe with a wet cloth and soap. 
Use a soft absorbent towel and gently pat your sex doll dry after cleansing.
After thoroughly drying, apply a light dusting of corn starch or baby powder to keep his skin soft and velvety. Never use a hairdryer or other heat source to blow your doll dry. 

WHAT SOAP TO USE?

Use hair conditioner, diluted dish soap or a mild antibacterial soap. 

ANAL + ORAL CLEANING

The vaginal, anal and oral areas of the doll should be cleaned after every use to avoid the growth of bacteria, as TPE skin is more porous than silicone. Flush the canal with mild anti-bacterial soap water in an anal irrigator until thoroughly clean, rinse the canal with clean water in an anal irrigator until all soap is removed. You can also buy our Automatic Self-Cleaning System. With just a bucket of water, it pumps the clean water in and pumps the dirty water out. This way you don't have to move the doll around when you need to clean him. Dry canal thoroughly. People usually use tampons or absorbent "shammy" clothes to dry out the orifices. Once dry, dust with corn starch or baby powder inside and out. 

WIG CARE

To clean your doll's hair, remove the wig from his head and clean the wig with a mild shampoo and conditioner. Let the wig dry naturally (using a wig stand if possible) then gently comb the wig starting from the bottom and moving upward. 

HYDRATE THE TPE SKIN EVERY 6 MONTHS

For TPE dolls, if the skin starts feeling dry, apply mineral oil to rehydrate the skin. Do this about every 6 months. This is important to prevent skin from cracking in the long run. Do not use vegetable oils as they will go rancid. After oiling up the skin and letting the oil absorb, powder the skin with corn starch or baby powder to make it dry and smooth to the touch. This is not necessary for silicone dolls. 

SKELETAL CARE

Your sex doll has a metal skeleton with several fixed and movable joints that allow him to be flexible and perform a wide range of poses. There are screw-fixing holes inside the joints, foot, and leg. It is normal for your doll to have some slight modification traces and marks at these parts. Be careful when carrying your doll around. Because of his metal skeleton, he can be quite heavy depending on his size. Avoid dropping your doll, or knocking him against hard surfaces which could cause damage. Take care to protect your doll's fingers. The fingers have internal wires that allow you to pose your doll's hands. The doll fingers allow for a very light grip only and cannot bear weight. The internal wires can break if not handled with care.
While our dolls do have enhanced wrists that can support their own weight, when you engage in doggy-style sex with your sex doll, it's best to support your doll's torso beneath him with pillows or furniture. 

PROTECT THE LUMBAR JOINT

Although the skeleton is very durable, if anything ever breaks, it will most likely be the lower back joint. With this mind, do not bend the doll's lower back to its extreme, and if you have a large heavy doll, use furniture sliders when you need to drag him by his torso. You can also use a wheelchair, an office chair, a dolly, or a hand truck. 

MAKEUP

The coloring of your doll's lips, eyes, cheeks, areola and penis head is a semi-permanent make-up. It will wear off with sexual use, touching, kissing, bathing or using mineral oil, makeup remover, stain remover, etc. You should reapply the makeup as desired. We recommend any matte eyeshadow palette, easily found in general stores like Amazon.

HOW TO PUT ON YOUR CUSTOM MAKEUP YOURSELF

You can use makeup on your doll. In fact, this is what factories use for nipples, lips, eyebrows, freckles, etc. Once you put the makeup on, you can apply mineral oil over it and leave it overnight to settle. This way, it will be semi-permanent and won't smudge. You can always remove it with mineral oil. You can also apply heat with a blowdryer to make it even more long-lasting. 

HOW TO APPLY TATTOOS

Buy doll tattoos here. Clean the doll's skin well so it's free of oil and powder. Apply the tattoo and make sure to soak the back of the tattoo sticker thoroughly. Use warm water. Leave the tattoo to dry. This technique works for both TPE and silicone dolls.   

NEED TO REMOVE A STAIN OR MAKEUP?

For light stains, use mineral oil. For tougher stains, use baking soda mixed with 10% benzoyl peroxide and cream of tartar. Leave it on for 3-5 hours. Repeat for darker stains. You can also order our Stain Remover.  

WHAT GLUE TO USE FOR EYELASHES AND NAILS?

A very thin amount of superglue, applied with a toothpick.

"NEW DOLL SMELL"

Sometimes the doll arrives with a "new doll smell". Just like with memory foam mattresses, the smell will subdue after a few days of airing out. After a few weeks, it will smell significantly less. Some people also like to use a scented baby powder.

JOINTS FEEL TOO STIFF?

The joints will loosen over time.

USE RESPONSIBLY

Refrain from sharing your sex doll with anyone else, to prevent spreading of disease. Clean your sex dolls vaginal, anal and oral canals with a mild cleanser, dry thoroughly and apply corn starch or baby powder after every use to prevent the growth of bacteria. We recommend the use of a condom for ease in cleaning. 

WHAT CONDOMS TO USE WITH A TPE SEX DOLL?

TPE isn't compatible with latex or polyisoprene condoms. This is because it sweats mineral oils, and latex and polyisoprene chemically break down when in contact with oil. Same reason most condoms are not compatible with oil-based lubes. Any other material is ok.
